About East Sooke Wild

East Sooke Wild is a small, volunteer‑run initiative created by residents who use and care about East Sooke Regional Park. The goal is simple: make it easier for neighbours and park users to understand the current Crown land tenure proposal and to share informed comments with the Province, the CRD, and other decision‑makers.

East Sooke Wild is not a registered charity or formal organization. It is a temporary, community‑driven effort focused on this specific proposal, drawing on publicly available documents, local knowledge, and experience from other environmental review campaigns. Everyone is encouraged to read the original sources, talk with neighbours, and make up their own mind about what should happen on this parcel of public land.
