TAKE ACTION TOGETHER
What you can do right now.
The most effective public engagement is specific, visible, and repeated. This campaign is designed to make it easy for people to take meaningful action and make sure decision-makers cannot ignore the volume of concern.
01
Send your comment using the form below
Use the comment form on this site to submit your message. Your comment will be sent to the Province for all three active proposals, emailed to CRD Parks, and included in the campaign record so your voice is part of the official public response.
02
Why this site matters
Comments submitted here are not just collected — they are routed to the BC Crown Land Applications portal, made public on this website, emailed to CRD Parks at crdparks@crd.bc.ca to the attention of the Chair of the Regional Parks Committee, emailed to Al Wickheim at directorjdf@crd.bc.ca, and prepared for physical delivery.
03
Printed delivery to the CRD
All comments submitted through this campaign will also be printed and hand-delivered to CRD Headquarters, 625 Fisgard St, Victoria, B.C., V8W 1R7, before the close of the commenting period on May 6, 2026.
04
Attend public meetings
Showing up matters. Attend CRD public meetings, parks committee meetings, and open houses related to East Sooke Regional Park. Sign up on this site to be notified of any public meetings when they are scheduled.
05
Talk about it publicly
Share this website widely with neighbours, hiking groups, local organizations, and friends. Post it on Facebook, Instagram, community groups, and local forums so more people understand what is being proposed and how they can respond.
06
Stay engaged locally
Be active in the community. Ask questions, follow decision timelines, contact elected officials, and keep the issue visible right up to the end of the comment period. Sustained engagement is much harder for governments to dismiss than a one-day spike of concern.
One comment, delivered in many ways
Submitting through this website helps concentrate public input where it will be seen.
When you submit through this website, your comment is prepared as a response to all three linked Crown land applications — 1415403, 1415404, and 1415322. It is submitted to the BC Crown Land Applications portal, emailed to CRD Parks staff and the Regional Parks Committee, included in a printed package hand-delivered to the CRD before the May 6, 2026 deadline, included in an East Sooke Wild community submission, and published here as part of the public record using only your first name and city/community.
